UNIFYING DIFFERENT DISCIPLINES UNDER A SAME VOICE

Zorzal

A house / workshop where various artistic subjects coexist in dialogue; including audiovisual art, painting, sculpture, photography and design. The institution has grown from its roots making only stop-motion animation, now it was necessary to find a unified image according to what represents today the organization.

Generate an identity versatile enough so that it does not overshadow any of the disciplines, and in turn manages to represent them all accordingly and equally.

Cultural exchange

In the house of Zorzal you can see constant cultural exchanges between the various disciplines that transit it. This enrichment helps give the institution a unique essence.

Songbird

The thrush, singing birds of Uruguayan fauna, abound in the space of the house / workshop. Space where you can experience your song accompanied by the song of the humans who respond, generating a dialogue between species.

The institution requires an identifying sign with a typology of -logo with background- according to what the cultural and artistic sector's codes; and to have good contrast when it is placed on vairious artistic backgrounds.

Designers tend to mitify the reason behind graphic resources. For example, basing the color decisions on elements related to the brand; but this is something that in general is not verified by the user. The semantics of this palette are based on random objects that have nothing to do with the brand. Instead, the colors were decided based on their style, versatility, contrast and context.

Expositions

Zorzal has a recurring exhibition called "A Puertas Abiertas" where visitors enter a jungle courtyard to enjoy the artistic pieces offered.
